In nearly eight years with Stream I progressed from providing telephone technical support for Microsoft Word to the leader of a team providing the highest level of support offered by Stream. Decisions regarding support offerings, how to implement these and what the support boundaries would be were made according to my recommendations. In addition to providing technical assistance to others, I have completed many ‘real-world’ projects that demonstrate my technical expertise as well as my ability to manage resources and work well with others. Some of this experience is outlined below. I have provided extensive support for Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional · Wins, DHCP, DNS and Active Directory, Group Policy. ·
Windows NT/2000 terminal server and client configuration. ·
RIS, Riprep and automated system installations. ·
System imaging using Symantec’s Ghost software. I have configured private networks (VLAN’s), virtual private networks (VPN’s) and firewalls. ·
I assisted with the network design in the Dallas site. ·
I have experience installing and configuring Cisco, D-Link and
NetGear hardware (firewalls switches and routers) as well as software
firewalls including Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0 and Microsoft Internet
Information Server. I developed and maintained intranet sites for product troubleshooting and client specific procedures. ·
Writing HTML using Microsoft FrontPage and Text Editors ·

Install and configure Redhat and Mandrake Linux including configuring

Hardware and software inventories, installation of, and integration
with Microsoft SQL server. I managed two projects for Stream that included implementing Microsoft Exchange Server (versions 5.5 and 2000) including Outlook Web Access in Canton, MA and two sites in Dallas TX. ·
Implementations also included conducting formal training of employees
on Windows NT\2000 Exchange 5.5 and 2000, Microsoft Outlook, Novell Netware
and GroupWise as well as proprietary applications and company procedures. I
conducted the training and developed the curriculum and all training
materials. I installed and maintained Novell Netware (4.x) servers and Novell GroupWise (5.2 and 5.5) post offices. ·
Integrated legacy email systems including Lotus cc:Mail and
Microsoft Mail. I also provided client support common software packages · Microsoft Office 97-XP. (Specializing in
Outlook and Word) · Winfax Pro, Attachmate Extra, ProComm Plus. I developed several visual basic applications. (Version 4) including Microsoft Access database integration |
